A piston with a connecting rod is a combination of a piston and a connecting rod (or conrod) in an internal combustion engine. A connecting rod is a slender rod that connects the piston to the crankshaft and transfers the force generated by the expanding gas in the combustion chamber to the rotating crankshaft.

No. Without a conrod, the piston cannot accurately transfer the heat energy released by the fuel to the crankshaft, making it difficult for the engine to run properly and the car to drive.

First, remove the piston pin holding clamp or clip spring from the piston pin with pliers.
Second, tap the end of the piston pin with a soft-faced hammer or brass rod to loosen it from the connecting rod.
Carefully remove the piston pin from the piston and connecting rod. If the pin is difficult to remove, the pin can be pushed out with a pin removal tool or a small hydraulic press.
If the piston is still attached to the link, use the piston ring compression tool to compress the piston ring and tap the piston with a soft face hammer to loosen the link.
Once the piston is loose, carefully pull it away from the link. If the piston is still difficult to remove, a small pry bar or a special piston removal tool can be used to separate it from the connecting rod.

Cleanliness. Proper fit. Proper lubrication. Alignment. Torque specifications. Orientation. Wrist pin installation. Retaining clips.

The piston is connected to the connecting rod by a short hollow tube, called a wrist pin or piston pin. This wrist pin carries the full force of the burn. The piston is not only subjected to vertical forces during combustion, but also to lateral forces generated by the constant change of the Angle of the connecting rod.
